Assisted Living & Memory Care

This unique setting offers individual apartments available to those who require some assistance with managing medications, bathing, dressing and support services. Our 24 hour staff is dedicated to providing a warm and caring environment that promotes independence in this secured family atmosphere. We maintain a 5:1 resident to staff ratio, ensuring that all of our residents receive the necessary amount of assistance. Those providing direct care to our residents are Certified Nursing Assistants. Through the design of this community we have implemented a social model of care that has proven beneficial to our residents. We have two cottages serving the needs of our residents at this time. The Woolf Cottage serves as a true assisted living residence while The Wheless Cottage has additional programs designed for those with memory loss. Our staff at The Wheless Cottage has been specially trained by The Copper Ridge Institute, affiliated with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, whose research and training in Alzheimer's and Dementia care has been recognized both nationally and internationally.
