Our residents and guests beat the heat at The Glen’s 15th annual “Music For The Health Of It” Ice Cream Social. Held in the auditorium on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 1:30 PM, it was a delightful way to escape the humdrum days of summer.

Amid the red, white and blue decorations, The Festival String Quartet, under the direction of Leonard Kacenjar, entertained the crowd. James Johnson was our special treat as guest pianist. The energy in the air could be felt as they played songs such as “Fascination” and “Morning Has Broken.” Guest and residents could be seen singing and toe tapping as well as clapping their hands.
Ice cream & yummy toppings were enjoyed by the young and young at heart. A most refreshing way to start the sizzling days ahead of us! The Glen’s Community Outreach Program proudly supported this event.
