The Glen presents check to Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission.
As part of The Glen Retirement System’s Community Outreach Program, donations were collected over the holidays for the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission. All donations were recognized on the “Giving Tree”, that stood in the lobby of The Glen, by a personalized ornament.
The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is a ministry that reaches out to feed, clothe, shelter, and provide healing services to homeless men, women, and families with children.
The Glen began it’s journey in 1898 as a “Home for the Homeless”. For 113 years we have understood the importance of “home” and we are privileged to have been able to support the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission this holiday season.
