On November 11, 2009, The Glen Retirement System hosted a preview event of the extensive renovations at Village Health Care, the organization's skilled-care community. Guests toured the new, more home-like, environment that has been created. This renovation and transformation of the daily operations at The Glen are part of a world-wide movement to eliminate the institutionalization of our elders living in the nursing home.
