The Glen Retirement System received the Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes the achievements of an association member or non-member or a facility, which has made an outstanding contribution towards the welfare of older persons in such areas as, but not limited to research, education, professional development, communications, public policy, advocacy or innovative programs.
Linda McWaters, Chief Operating Officer at The Glen received the Award of Honor. This award is presented to an individual that has a history of commitment, leadership, and involvement, which has had a broad-reaching effect on the advancement of services to the elderly. The individual shows excellence and has made a significant, positive impact in long-term care service and/or the senior, retirement housing industry.
The Glen Receives Platinum 2009 Louisiana Nursing Home Quality Award
eQHealth Solutions, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Louisiana, awarded Village Health Care at The Glen with the Platinum 2009 Louisiana Nursing Home Quality Award. This award was presented at the 2010 Louisiana Medicare Healthcare Quality Summit & Awards in Baton Rouge in April 2010.
