A Lifestyle Designed For You
As a Life Plan Community, we are able to merge the needs of each individual with their plans for living life to the fullest. We offer a lifestyle that residents can make the most out of through various levels of living, available health care, and an ample supply of activities and entertainment.
Days at The Glen can be enjoyed quietly sitting in the garden, heading out on an adventure in a town nearby, or joining in a game of beanbag baseball. There really is something for everyone.
It’s nurturing, it’s engaging, it’s living.
A Philosophy That Makes a Difference
An important part of the lifestyle at The Glen is our Culture Change philosophy, which places residents at the heart of everything we do. Instead of asking residents to conform to a schedule that meets our needs, we design each day around the individual we serve: their needs, their preferences and their interests.
This resident-driven philosophy even extends to the setup of our living spaces, which are designed to maximize privacy and maintain personal dignity. Through regular meetings, residents are actively involved in decisions about daily life in our community.
How Will You Enjoy Your Day?
At The Glen we understand the importance of enjoying each day to the fullest. How you spend your time is your decision, but we want to make sure that you have plenty of opportunities right outside your door. From those who are looking to stay fit, to those wanting to explore their creative side, there is something for everyone. And, if you don’t find it on the calendar…let us know! We love suggestions that inspire spontaneous fun!
Regularly Scheduled Activities Include:
Creative Projects, Games (Including bowling, BINGO, Beanbag Baseball & More!), Movies & Popcorn, Musical Entertainment, Worship Services & Bible Studies, Exercise Classes (Including Yoga), Continental Breakfast, Community Socials, Dining & Shopping Outings.
“The Glen is a wonderful place to stay young as we grow older. The multiple activities are flexible enough to meet the various levels of the resident’s mobility. We even make going to the grocery store an adventure! In many respects, we are like a big family.” – Reba Herring
